When was the last time your seven year old child went off with an 88 year old man at the wheel of a car? Would you even allow your seven year old child to go somewhere alone with a man that age, in a car, driving? You don't find that strange at all? I'm sorry, but I find it awfully odd to say the least. There was no mention that it was 'grandpa' she was out alone with? How many here have shrieked when young children are left outside along playing, and come to harm? I'm thinking cases like Samantha Runnion. "Why was she outside without supervision, playing alone" is what I heard mentioned. Before we moved here, my grandparents enjoyed spending time with my children, and I took them to see 'em as often as I could, but I didn't think my elderly grandparents, in their seventies at the time, we physically able to manage young children alone, so I never used 'em as *babysitters*. this guy was 88 years old for cripes sakes. Where was this child's mother? Seven year olds are supposed to be in booster seats, here anyway, still. The law is that booster seats are required until the child is eight. You don't find any of this a bit *odd* to say the least? Who doesn't know where their seven year old is? And who allows a seven year old to go off in a car with an 88 year old at the wheel? Elderly people have slow-poor reflexes, especially when driving a car. I'm sorry, but I find this story odd to say the least.
