Tony -
You are making to much out of this. In my area only 30% are pbutting first time now, well below the national average, admittedly. I pbutted both my motor bike and my car tests first time - 35 years ago - even though in the first my bike broke down at the lights (I had forgotten to turn the petrol tap on) and I had to push it diagonally across the busy junction. In my car test I almost ran an old lady over at a roundabout.
People who say that you would have to be deaf blind and stupid to fail the test now, though, are not right - pbutting the practical these days is hard, or dependent on luck, or rather both.
Try to stay calm and focussed, and do things in a deliberate and methodical way. Always plan what you are going to do, and in what sequence, well before you come up to a feature (e.g., roundabout, junction, etc.) Don't hurry, but do so much observation that you think your head is going to fall off.
Good luck, and don't give up. Your faults so far are very few, and remediable.
