Going somewhere, Deputy 4121

No, he didn't. If you never heard about this case or don't remember it, stop trying to make it fit another one that you do remember.

At 3AM, when you've heard someone try your front door, and then go around to the back and they're obviously trying to gain entry, you're going to "see" who's at the door?

I suspect you'd be cowering in a closet with a phone dialing 911, but maybe you wouldn't.

The point is a grand jury found no reason to indict the guy, despite international protests.

No, some acquaintances of his were going to drop him off at his hotel. He freaked for reasons we can never be sure of and tried to break into someone's house.

It was not parked - he jumped out of a moving car.

You think it's bloodthirsty to protect your wife and child with deadly force if necessary?

Nope, the intruder was not armed - he was just acting like a lunatic and trying to break into some innocent family's home.

This innocent family just happened to have a gun and had a father-husband who was willing to use it to protect his wife and kids.
