Driving home, and there was a cop set up at a corner gas station. I wondered why he was in the position he was because he was facing the opposite way of traffic on that side of the road and couldn't see any traffic coming the other way. It was at a light too, with many left and right turning people, especially at that time of day. So it wasn't like there would be amny people speeding thorugh the intersection, not to mention the fact that people don't go very much over the limit anyhow.
In any case, I made my right turn at the light after sitting thorugh the red cycle and the cop comes out after me and puts the lights on. First I moved to the side of the road and slowed for him to pbutt, but he went around the guy behind me and got behind me. So I pull around the corner onto a side street so as not to block traffic or have the cop standing in the middle of the road.
Turns out he stopped me for my registration being invalid. A whole 5 days out and he gives me a $185 ticket. Wonderful. Just when I start recoving financially from previous crap from the cops and am getting ready to take summer courses at school (I wanna get done ASAP) I get this $185 fine. Wonderful. Looks like my bank account is gonna get drained again. Sheesh, any time I start to get ahead it's back to zero again...
Nice to know the police officers we are all paying are out there making the world a safer place and helping out citizens in need... Like that little old lady who's car was stalled yesterday in the middle of the road through town... I drove by and observed her stalled in the middle of the road with her hazard lights flashing and on a cell phone. People were slowly pbutting her on the right between her car and parked cars. A cop pbutted her and kept on going. I had to go back and push her car to the side of the road and make sure she had help coming. Wonderful how cops will see someone obviously in need of buttistance and just keep on driving, but at the first opportunity to polish their record with another ticket for some ridiculous little thing not even safety related they'll jump into action.
