like they were saying :
So why'd he have to stop?
Got stuck in a yellow box junction 246Adrian much like they were saying : His *EXIT* was clear. So why'd he have to stop? Because the car in front of him stopped. For no good reason. He had no...
box until it is.
Besides, why didn't the OP stop at the amber light he must have seen BEFORE crossing the line?
You mean apart from ignoring the traffic light AND entering a box junction when it wasn't clear to exit it?
AMBER means 'Stop' at the stopline. You may go on only if the AMBER appears after you have crossed the stop line or are so close to it that to pull up might cause an accident
151: You MUST stop behind the white 'Stop' line across your side of the road unless the light is green. If the amber light appears you may go on only if you have already crossed the stop line or are so close to it that to stop might cause an accident. Laws RTA 1988 sect 36 & TSRGD regs 10 & 36
150: Box junctions. These have criss-cross yellow lines painted on the road (see Other road markings section). You MUST NOT enter the box until your exit road or lane is clear. However, you may enter the box and wait when you want to turn right, and are only stopped from doing so by oncoming traffic, or by other vehicles waiting to turn right. At signalled roundabouts you MUST NOT enter the box unless you can cross over it completely without stopping. Law TSRGD regs 10(1) & 29(2)
Looks to me like TS10 and TS50. Three points each. 20Signs%20%A0
