Got stuck in a yellow box junction 248

Adrian much like they were saying : Since you still think the OP acted incorrectly, I can only buttume you are yet another poster who believes that box junctions can only be crossed one vehicle at a time. *Ding*. You don't enter a box junction until your exit is clear. Because you're sharing the road with numpties, and you will sometimes be caught out. If there's no problem, then you're not delayed any, because you just cross the junction and you're back to being behind the same car you were just following. If there's a problem, the box has just done it's job, and the junction remains clear.. What's so difficult about that? Oh, sorry, it requires you to think. I can see why that would cause you a problem.

It's not my definition. In effect it's what my policy states. Seems to me you're making you're own definition of what is meant by the term 'drive a...

It seems my buttumption was correct - you are confirming that you *don't* understand box junctions. Have a look at this, from a link you posted:

"You MUST NOT enter the box until your exit road or lane is clear"

Then compare it with this:

"At signalled roundabouts you MUST NOT enter the box unless you can cross over it completely without stopping."

Why do you think there is the specific wording '......cross over it completely without stopping' in the case of the signalled roundabout, and not in the case for ordinary box junctions, if according to you, they mean the same thing?

If they had intended that no one enters a box junction unless they have a completely unimpeded path in front of them and a space to fit into after the exit (as for roundabouts) then they would have said so, would they not?
