Hi,
I was in London going along west cromwell street I believe, and about halfway down theres a yellow box junction, I was heading towards the motorway thorgh hammersmith. Basically I was going along car infront of me stopped bang on an amberlight I entered the junction behind him just as he did this he stopped in it as the light was now red, I was stuck behind him. Car to the right of me from a side road whos right of way it was was blocked by the two of us started honking at me nothing I could do. Light turned green everyone moved pretty swiftly.
Now as I approached the juction I was sure I could clear it in time but this car just decided to do an emergency stop leaving us both stranded in it and at the mercy of someones horn
Obviously this was unfortunate but I was wondering will I be fined for this ? I read about fines for such offences. I don't know what kinds of fines there are ? just a fine is it or points ?
A bit unfortunate to be honest, a miss judgement on my part.
The box junction is about halfway down west cromwell road at the end of this road is a mbuttive tesco 24 hour and I was heading towards the left which leads heading to hammersmith then onto the motorway sorry about the vague location but its a very common route just wondeirng if anyone knows if this yellow box junction has a camera.
Have to admit I've never got stuck in a box junction before, what a haorrible feeling being stuck out there being honked at but hey ho.
