poo head' should be two words there, Judy. Actually, if your verbal thought processes were buttumed to be vaguely intelligent and...

Why is this thread still going? I didn't think anyone needed justification to buy a hot rod, other than "because I can" or "because it's cool."

BTW a friend of mine just bought a car I lust after...

'53 Stude coupe louvered hood 383ci Ch*vy stroker (supposedly a crate motor rated at 400HP with single 4bbl) dual Carter AFBs on an Offy manifold Muncie Rockcrusher 4-speed, Lakewood scattershield-bellhousing, hydraulic clutch GT Hawk front sway bar Sedan rear sway bar GT Hawk traction bars headers, 3" dual mandrel bent exhaust with H-pipe twin traction rear axle GT Hawk finned drums front and rear Caddy tilt-tele steering column (finishing this install was my project for last weekend, I am good with electrics but hate detailing; my friend is good with detailing and hates electrical work so we did a little trade)

I would seriously consider trading him something for it but it's just SO over the top that it's really not practical; I can't justify having a car that I can't legitimately use as a backup driver. This thing could set off car alarms a block away and I can't imagine driving it in the rain. I have a feeling it might have traction issues. You can't hear yourself think when it lights off, but then again you don't care because the idle sounds like the drum intro from "hot for teacher" so you have this feces-eating grin on your face that won't go away...
