Humberbridge speed limits 5591

Who said I couldn't afford it? I could afford it. Apart from which my employer was going to be paying, not me. I even had enough change on me (see my first post). But until I arrived at the barrier I didn't know that. I wanted a sign or signs on my way to the toll booths telling me what the charge would be. Simple.

There weren't any. FFS, that's my point!!!!!

RE: Dyslexic Plates
By right plates, I was refering the the plates that belong to the car. Since the licence...

And without any signs telling me what the amount will be, how much is enough? It's a really, really simple point I'm trying to make. Putting some signs up with the charge on. People who use the bridge regularly no doubt know what the charge is for their vehicle type and time of day, just as I know what the Dartford charge is, the Severn charge is and the M6 Toll charge is, because I regularly use them. But, crucially, if I was in the position of using them for the first time ever, I'd have plenty of advance warning of the charge. But I'd never used the Humber Bridge before, and I didn't know the charge, and there were no signs.

Good, well I'll just have to try and synchronise my next crossing with a time that's convenient for you to be there too.
