I Failed! 1267

After serious thinking Peter wrote :

Even I am slightly nervous with a new pbuttenger. They have to gain their reactions to my driving. Driving alone, I drive to please myself knowing my own limits. With pbuttengers I initially adjust to them.

The more you do it, the less nervous you become and the more quickly you learn to adjust.

From your description and the comments he made, it sounded as if your observer was very much at fault.

Qualifications and bits of paper are often easy to obtain. I never pre-judge anyone on their qualifications or lack of them. What mater is their actual skill and ability to pbutt that skill on.

Both, but mainly the course. The test is just a judgement on your performance at one moment in time.

The important thing is to learn from your mistakes in your daily driving. Learn to recognise what mistakes you are making and take what ever steps you need to correct them.

Thats the ticket :-)

That is the way I brought my skill levels up to standard. Be very critical and learn something from every error you make, no matter how tiny the error might have been. Never ever decide you are too experienced behind the wheel to end this self critical process.
