I was talking about establishing a base in the Muslim "holy land." I wasn't referring to decisions to use military force.
Most people don't make an effort to get speed limits changed though they exceed them every day. Our government is a representative government and it's hard enough to get things changed. Do you seriously expect a non representative government to seriously consider the population's concerns?
That doesn't mean we have to get involved.
They are two mutually exclusive concepts. That means that both can be true at the same time.
