I got completely lost

Well, the 240 has a pretty large reserve, even when the fuel gauge is down in the red...

I went to the kit car show today, and it was great! There were a few Ferrari replica's, a really nice mini replica, a mini which was made into a monstertruck ROFL (I've got a pic of that one!), a few lovely GTM Libras, and loads of others.

I got completely lost on the way home though. I started by going along the M-way in the wrong direction, for a few miles... well closer to 40 or 50 miles. The names on the road signs didn't mean anything to me, but they wouldn't because I didn't know the area. In the end I got to a toll booth in London, by Eslove. Ended up going through it three times, and asked them which way junction 12 was. They said I could go either way, but I was at junction 31. So it took me a while to get back to junction 12. A few wrong turns later, and I was back home! I missed one turning on the way (the name of the turn wasn't what I expected), but it was only around 100 miles to get there. On the way back it was almost 200 miles though.

I generaly found the motorway quite 'peaceful', probably because it was a Sunday. Lane discipline was terrible though, I stayed in the LHL most of the time because there were hardly any cars in it, and the other lanes had gaps of about an inch (big exageration) between each car.

Yes, but the point is that in your 899cc car you managed to drive means...

At one point I thought I was gonna see a crash lol. I was overtaking in lane 2 (motorway with 4 lanes in total). I came to a lorry in lane 1 and there was a lorry parallel to it in lane 3. I thought there's no way I'm gonna go through there, so I held back. A few moments later, when I would've been pbutting them if I had gone for it, they both signal. The one in lane one signals right, and the one in lane 3 signals left. Unfortunately one of them saw the other one. I'm very glad that I didn't overtake though. One of them had also started moving as soon as it started signaling, not giving other drivers much chance to move out of the way.

I got over 53mpg for the journey. There was a lot of traffic at one point which would've made it lower. We ended up using 1s gear at one point. I think it was a phantom traffic jam because after it there was nothing there at all. The last 40 miles also weren't included in this calculation. It's amazing how gutless my car can be, I had to change down for the slopes on the m-way. There was one hill on the m-way where I couldn't do 70mph in 5th, so I changed to 4th, and even with my foot to the floor it still couldn't do 70mph lol.
