IAM Mechanical Sympathy 1161

No Peter. You don't know the theory. You've read roadcraft and you've has a few observed runs. That does NOT qualify you as being 100% up on the theory. You prove time and time again that you don't know anything simply by your postings here.

You don't have to demonstrate the characteristics, but you should at least be able to understand what they are. You clearly do NOT.

No poo. You have a rather over inflated opinion of your abilities.

And you think that qualifies you to teach at an advanced level. You're only just old enough to sit next to a learner FFS.

Translation: I don't know.

Who's arguing? I'm stating facts. And an accurate one at that. Strange. You're happy to cheat the buttociates. They will be...

not they do Revs have little to with mechanical sympathy. Of course an an engine shouldn't be revved hard from cold, but more...

No Peter. There is a LOT more to it than that.

Seriously, if you are allowed to be an observer then whatever glimmer of respect I still hold for the organisation will be snuffed out. Unfortunately, I have little doubt that it will happen. My own past experience has shown be that they are quite happy to have the blind leading the blind but people here had led me to believe that things had moved on and standards were more uniform and higher. Looks like I was right and nothing has changed at all.
