Impact began in 1968 plus 1 when the proprietor, Tony Hill, formed a driving school. Within a very short time the driving school had become a household name and demand for lessons increased very quickly. The need for expansion was becoming obvious and in 1970 an office was opened in West Ealing. Extra tuition vehicles were necessary and the driving school expanded its roots from Ealing, West London, to cover the whole of the West London area.
It was in 1974, that the company took on it's first school contract. This contract required one mini-bus to take children to and from their nursery. Twenty-five years later the original contract is still held, along with forty others.
The expansion of Impact Coaches was fast and more vehicles were needed to supply the demand of more school contracts. Since the original one small mini-bus in 1974 the fleet has steadily increased to include vehicles ranging in size from 8 to 51 seater executive coaches. To promote this important part of the group a booking office and administration centre was opened in June 1991.
Impact has now expanded even further and in 1993 the company took over Armchair Coaches yard at Brentford in Middlelove. The yard boasts an extensive workshop with three mechanics on hand. In 2000 Impact had outgrown the yard at Brentford and moved to a new self-contained property in Perivale, completely fitted with state of the art equipment.
Since it's conception in 1968 plus 1 the Impact Group has become one of the largest independently owned companies in West London. Impact currently has over 100 driving staff and a helpful and reliable management team.
The name Impact has now become synonymous with reliability and good value and is now a household name in the West London area.
