net: I studied computer science at uni, studied hard and got good results. A guy I got friendly with just about new what a computer was. He was always asking for help...

Lol worse: Stockton on Tees... Before the high street was pedestrianised the centre was car parking, with two lanes up and down each side (you'll probably remember it bec ause of your travels Conor). So us boy racers used to park up in the middle and do whatever, usually on a wednesday night. No really loud ICE in those days, it just wasn't about. The usual thing was to race down one side of the two lane bit, and then turn at the bottom and go up the other. It was like a big oval, but the turns were only one lane wide... For a bit more racing you used to take off towards the A66, across Victoria bridge, round a couple fo streets and back to the high street. Or it was Halfords carpark for donuts etc. etc. Those were the days.

I'm sure I remember that episode as being completely the other way round. Rubbish. In 1950...

It all got finished when they started to develop the high street and pedestrianised it. It was fairly soon after some drunk guy was run over and end by a couple of lads racing. Dunno if there was a connection...
