Undertaking 892me puts hand up, I'm Mr unlucky pleased to meet you... About 12 years ago I got pulled by the police...
Quite! In SE London, pretty much all BMW drivers make absolutely sure that they have their fogs on all the time to boost the 'atbreastude' image that they presumably purchased the car for in the first place.
Perhaps the night vision could help them figure out that the centre broken white lines of roads are not give way lines, and they should wait for the road to be clear before pulling out to turn and blocking up the traffic.
Maybe it would highlight places where parking is not allowed, single and double yellow lines on busy roads for example, which down here act as magnets for the 'atbreastude' BMW drivers to just dump their chariots and block up the road while they go to the shop.
A particularly good warning would be for the corners of junctions, as these appear to have even greater magnetism for BMW's and cause untold problems for people using junctions when they have to pee about back and forth. The BMW's particularly like the curved bit of a junction, parking two wheels on the pavement of the curve (cos that makes it ok of course). Perhaps this is a demonstration of the superiority-invincibility of the BMW driver and chariot.
ANother good one would be to help the BMW driver to use lanes correctly on dual carraigeways and motorways- when was the last time you saw a BMW use the inside lane for anything other than a crafty undertake and back into the centre-outside lane?
Now having said this, I have seen a handful (and only a handful) of perfectly normal, polite and curteous BMW drivers, and if you are one of those people, ignore the above, it's not directed at you. BMW has developed a social stereotype image which unfortunately (or fortunately) lets us see who these chav's with a bit of cash are.
Cheers,
Joe
