Yes I am only too aware of our current political climate but instead of unpleasant womaning about it on Usenet I fought hard and long during the last mayoral & general elections by being a major advocator for the opposition and Steve Norris (who as im sure you all know was in favour of scrapping the unfair and money making central London "kengestion charge" If anybody on this NG really hates new labour and red ken then I hate them more. Pure and simple.
I am a "professional" driver and during client visits I drive something like 30,000 to 40,000 miles a year. I feel this gives me a good understanding of driving and what our current dictatorship does for us all.
