KATRINA SURVIVORS: "GUNS SAVED US" 2702BTR1701 More tough talk from the anonymice. Just out of curiosity, do you ask these guys a series of questions to determine if they're "violent psychopaths...
An armed civil revolt may or may not be possible. However, the tanks and airstrikes would be fairly useless against such a spread-out enemy as the general population is. Are they going to call in an airstrike, or shell a suburb in Skokie, Il because they think a couple of rebels live there? If they did, the rebellion would just grow into a viable force to restore a consbreastutional government (since the only reason for such a rebellion would be the failure of the consbreastutional government, and the usurpation of power by some despot or despots.) We're partly on the way to that by the SCOTUS interpretation of the 10th amendment to allow the Federal government to acquire much more power than the founding fathers intended it to have. That's why the atbreastude of the supreme court justices has become so important - such judges are now legislating from the bench, instead of just settling disputes of what the law was meant to be. When that situation gets too detrimental to liberty, then the risk of an armed conflict will go up. That is, if we retain the power to make such a conflict.
But its really more about people being able to defend themselves from the preditors, especially the other humans with not-so-good intentions.
