Now that I am experimenting with driving nearer the speed limit, I am seeing a lot more things I never had time for. In addition to the increase in people who try to kill me by driving in my lane, I am now seeing cops pull over people for driving in the left lane. I saw three such events today on I294 and I290.
Event one was just after leaving the 167th street rape station. A cop was parked on the left shoulder. As I approached, he turned off his lights, and pulled in behind me. He cut off someone to do this, so of course I buttumed he was gunning for me. I moved into the center lane, and he slowly pbutted me (about 60MPH). I moved behind him, and made sure to drive 1MPH slower than he was. He came up on a car in the left lane. He drove behind them for about a half mile. They were not speeding, and were doing nothing wrong other than being an butthole. I can only buttume he pulled them over for LLBing.
The second event was coming home on I290, where the cop was in the right lane and caught up to a group of cars, forced his way in behind the LLB, and then turned on his cherries. Again, nothing other than being an butthole in the left lane.
today's stereotypeDamn! I was just about to post on this! Here in CA, I was in Costco, and I discovered a phenomenon- next time you're in a store like that, and around similar folks...
Third was on 294 again, except the cop drove past 5 trucks illegally in the left lane to pull over an old couple.
I guess at least they are doing something, although I have to wonder how often the truckers blow the cops to be able to drive in the left lane.
