So, by that logic, if I 'borrow' your car in the middle of the night, blast through a few cameras and then replace it without your knowledge you're guilty by default. Even if it was a ringer and your car stayed put you're still buttumed to be guilty.
You will no doubt counter that you were not the driver, to which I would simply say "prove it". If you happened to live alone and your only alibi was that you were asleep in bed you could not do so. You would be an innocent person found guilty of an offence you did not commit and yet you seem quite happy with that.
Why did you not know where your property was? "It was on the driveway" Prove it! The evidence of the camera is irrefutable.
Why did you not know who was driving? "It was stolen" Prove it!
