Lib Dem's plans to tax motorists 644On Tue, 19 Sep 2006 06:24:16 +0100, SteveH What complete bollocks. Every "average" family I know of peees their money away on expensive holidays, overblown weddings...
Let me tell you something your half-witted prig:
Well we have two kids, other than that I'm in the same boat. So I'm worse off than you, am I not?
If your employer expects you to travel, then the employer *must* provide the means of travel. So that one doesn't wash.
So you have credit card balances.
So you have sky, broadband, and a contract mobile that really you could do without.
Like all of us you have to live within your means. If you had dropped the broadband and Sky and one of the two phones or gone to two PAYG phones you could have trimmed your budget.
What utter poo. You don't *need* TV, in fact much of the year I get along just fine without it. Given the hours I work, I don't get to see TV of any flavour much and TBH I don't see I'm missing much. You could always try talking to your wife-partner for example. Here's a radical thought, the public library is full of books that you can read for free. And since you're going to be paying a TV licence anyway you coudl just watch the minimum of five free channels or even the Freeview channels which are just as mind-rottingly tedious as Sky.
To complain about taxing the rich then to hand over your money to the
I can understand it.
Why do you want to be a wage slave on the minimum wage? If you are university educated then you can work for yourself as many of us do. Then you can be worried and scared every single day because you will never know where your next job is coming from. But according to you, it's a life of easy money so you surely aspire to it?
Sorry, but that's self-justifying bollocks as well. You really don't *need* two cars. I know, I've been there and I was out of work in 1991 and before that in the early 80s when, believe me, there was some justification in complaining about work opportunities.
Don't for a second try to tell me otherwise. It's funny how *you* having to give up something is so hard, but for others you expect them to fork over half of their income in taxation.
And you've swallowed the crap that makes you believe that this money will somehow come to you, or people like you. You don't even realise that what you propose is nothing more than legalised theft.
