Yet, you refuse to believe what I wrote wasn't what you take it to be. Who do you think has a better idea of the intended meaning of what I...

Actually I do have a problem reading and discussing queuing theory (that's the real name for the branch of mathematics you think you are talking about) at an 8th grade level. It is very difficult to use Jr High descriptions for concepts that require post-graduate study to understand. That's why you don't understand my explanations why you are completely off base with this theory of congestion through bad driving.

The problem is often described as the bank teller problem or supermarket checkout problem. I suggest you brush up on these issues you studied as an upperclbuttman.

Induced demand is not what I am arguing plain and simple. WTF is your problem anyway? Um no. Let's say there are 3 lanes in a given direction. There are a 100 cars...

It is -exactly- what you wrote. You seem to think that there is some conspiracy of bad drivers that come out of the woodwork to drive side by side at the same time with the existing bad drivers whenever capacity is added. Where one bad driver will absolutely screw up a single lane it would take 12 bad drivers to do the same to a three lane road unless we buy into your cabal of bad drivers intent on screwing up traffic.

Look you are on a roll, you know for sure and no one is going to change your mind; bad drivers are more important than capacity. Don't let me intrude in this nice tight belief system.
