You are a Chrsyler fan aren't you? I realize that different people have different ideas of what is good, or great. However, It is hard for me to give much credence to someone who like Chryslers given the sorry state of Chrysler products made during a comparable time period (1972 - 1997).

I also owned a number of used vehicle that I won't include. Of these vehicles the by far the worst was the Plymouth. Next worse was the Toyota Cressida. The 1972 Pinto was by far the best value (never broke, got decent mileage, good student car, decent autocross car). This qualifies it for a great can in my mind. It was great for it's market segment and era. The Mercury Sable was the best overall car of the ones in my list (The Taurus wagon was OK as well, just not quite as good). I kept the Sable for ten years and ended up selling it to a good friend. It never suffered from any serious problems and provided reliable, comfortable transportation. This makes it a great car in my mind. The others were OK but not remarkable.
After owning the Plymouth for less than a year, I permanently swore off Chryslers forever. I also have a hard time considering Toyotas as well, but at least some people I know really like them, and I especially like their current trucks. So it is conceivable I will buy a Toyota. Most people I know who buy Chrysler products end up like me, confirmed "no more Chrysler" people. I know a few people occasionally get lured back to Chrysler, but most regret it. To be honest, I still own a Dodge truck. It is too worthless to sell, so I keep patching it up.
So if Fords are equivalent to McDonalds, what are Chryslers equivalent to? Hardees? Burger Chef? The corner hot dog stand?
