Not at all. It was 'cos most of the f***wits were up the arse of the car in front, and consequently braking too hard and for too long, thus slowing everyone down further by creating a ripple effect. Or going stupidly slowly, like 50 mph, and staying in lane 2. I saw, including mine, only about seven cars move into the long, and I mean several rolling miles worth, stretches of empty lane 1 between the lorries.
Which was actually funny, and very beneficial to me 'cos I'd move into lane 1 (Landrover Discovery, pretty much fully loaded and towing so moving at about 60+ so faster than lorries but 'slower' than most car traffic), three or more cars would shoot past in lane 2 'cos I leave a large gap, then I'd sail past about 20 odd cars as they caught the rest of the field up. Then I'd indicate, wait for a space to develop and move out when I came close enough to the lorries to overtake. Not one, surpsisingly, held me up or tried to stop me overtaking, even though I'd 'undertaken'. After the overtake I'd move back into lane 1 and do the same again.
I actually had a quicker journey than probably the majority of the 'faster' f***wits in lane 2, as I virtually didn't ever need to slow down or even back off the throttle. :)
