And, when they begin to issue RFID chips for shoes, you'll be saying, with a smirk on your face: "Don't buy shoes."
And, when they begin to issue RFID chips in food, you'll be saying, with that same smirk on your face: "Don't buy food."
And, when bubba asks you to lower your britches while he steps up behind you, no where in his request did he say he was going to butt f*** you.
The Straw Man fallacy is committed when a person simply ignores a person's actual position and subsbreastutes a distorted, exaggerated or misrepresented version of that position to attack. This sort of "reasoning" has the following pattern:
1. Person A has position X. 2. Person B presents position Y (which is a distorted version of X). 3. Person B attacks position Y. 4. Therefore X is false-incorrect-flawed.
Bill Bonde did not create a Strawman falicy, because he did not take steps #3 and #4. He did develope the original idea to it's logical conclusion, then asked you why not extend it to that point. You dodged that question by falsely accusing him of creating a Strawman.
Ah yes! They cry of those who would invade on our Right to Privacy. The false buttumption that Law abiding citizens have nothing to hide, and that those with something to hide are somehow criminal. When I refuse to give consent to searches of my person, house, papers, or effects, they will ask "What do you have to hide?", and my responce is "My Privacy".
He just provided you with that means, and you ignore it, and attack his position as if he didn't provide you with that means. That is the definition of a Strawman.
