They showed the new Audi off-roader and claimed to be racing it on road against "the Arizona Police". The knobhead driving the Audi seemed to think that the Audi trounced the police car. However I noticed a few things:
The police car appeared to be a Ford Expedition, the longer wheelbase version of the Explorer.
The Expedition is a seven seater vehicle with:
o Split level and split zone aircon. o SatNav as standard o Overhead DVD player o Seven seats with a third row suitable for individuals up to 6'2" tall.
The Audi had no boot space with the thrid row of seats up, could only accomodate people up to 5ft tall in the back seats and they would have to be amputees.
Despite all the supposed gee-whizz on the Audi, it ended up just a second or so faster than the Ford.
The Ford is a giant lardy arsed vehicle.
The Ford costs less than one-third of the price of the Audi.
So why the f*** did pooforbrains TV man think the Audi was such a wonderful vehicle?
I'd like to see an in-clbutt comparison between the Audi and Infiniti FX45.
Scottish 'no license&insurance' helpHey folks, I think I know somebody who is driving alone on a provisional license, without insurance, or tax... I just wanted to 1) work out the best way to go about reporting...
