Approaching a 4-way mini roundabout last night. Cars approaching it to my right have quite an open view of THEIR right, so tend to approach at speed at times. Because of this, I take extra care on the approach. It was getting dark so as well as looking for vehicles to my right, I'm also looking for evidence of anything coming (lights & reflections in house windows).
Nothing doing so I cross the white lines, quick glance to my left (a much more concealed entrance) and gently start to accelerate to go straight across............just as this stupid blonde unpleasant woman flies past me from left to right in a little black car (far too fast to even identify car model, never mind reg no.) - without even the slightest glance to her right!!! She must have being doing easliy 35-40mph and I have to wonder whether she was even acually aware that it was a roundabout, rather than a crossroads with her road having priority!
Had I been 1 or 2 seconds further forward, there's little doubt she'd have ****ted me.
The thought did cross my mind to follow her (yes Anne, I DID personalise it as she came VERY close to injuring me & my bairn!) but by the time I picked my jaw back up off the car floor she was long gone!!
The law of averages surely means that these idiots, like the one on the A685 in my previous thread, must come a cropper sooner rather than later - just please don't take my out in the process.
