More speed reductions

Collecting an untaxed car at the weekend 5582
Probably something that crops up a lot but I've just read pages and pages of the DVLA site and also Google archives from here and not really found a...

Now I'm annoyed! They've decided to reduce more speed limits, and I really can't understand why. This road went from 40mph to 30mph. The road's mbuttive with a lane in two directions, and a hatched area in the middle of the road. To show how wide the road actually is, it splits into 3 lanes (2 in one direction, 1 in the other) further along. It's now 30mph.

I went along there today to check for myself, and it was pretty busy, busier then usually. The traffic's usually quite light, but it's possible that I was just there at a particularly busy time (ie. lunch time). Other than the fact that it's safe to do 40mph it's also gonna be harder to overtake people, especially when you get people doing 25mph along there, and yes, there were quite a few of these on Sunday mornings!

After my exams I think I will be contacting my local MP, and anybody else who is responsible for these limits. If no action is taken then I won't be obeying these laws, or any other laws for that matter. It really is getting stupid. This is what the labour government is doing with our tax money!
