for the past week, I have been trying to think how I managed to miss that 50 limit, after all I had just pbutted three of them. I can only conclude I made a simple mistake. Maybe I was too tired or maybe I chose that point to check my mirror or that point to do SOMETHING that averted my vision for a second.

After a week of thinking about it, I woke up today and just thought "f*** it". So much safe driving over 25 years and so much training I have decided to take myself, with no requirment to do so. I am human and have made the first "serious LOL!" mistake after so many safe miles.

So I get a fine and points so f*** IT. All this bollocks about making safe progress and not holding up other drivers. Where did that get me? If I had just carried on as I had done for years and not driven 1mph over the limit, I wouldn't have to cough up £60, when I am saving hard to to get my pilots license.

I have been calm for the last week but today I am livid about it. f*** advanced driving because that isn't what the govenment wants. They want drivers who will stick to the speed limit and thats it. They do f*** all about MLOCS for a start, and look at the mayhem and road rage they cause.

Look at the "traffic cops" and "cars wars" programs. f***ing dangerous bastards on there that end up with some stupid frigging punishment for driving completely dangerously for 30 miles!

Look at the dangerous ****s who cut Conor up on a daily basis - f*** all happens to them. For the past 5 years I have positioned my car for safety, observed and anticipated safely, driven at a speed for the conditions on every single drive, and all the other methods that lead to safe driving. All that courtesy shown, all that bad driving shown to me that I have just shrugged off in the name of safety.

f*** trying to improve anymore as it won't get me anywhere. f*** em. They are not interested in safe drivers, just slow ones.
