Not really. Depending on the sightlines on the road, you have a greater or lesser chance of being able to see (and avoid) any nutters on the road, and a greater or lesser chance of people performing dangerous maneouvres.

The drivers do not change the physical construction of the road, but they do affect the element of danger buttociated with it. Yes it is. I produced three sentences earlier, each of which any sane...

So, depending on the chance of other drivers doing dangerous things, there's a different chance of you being harmed, or a different amount of danger.

I buttumed by "ultimately dangerous" you meant what the dictionary said you mean, which is:

ultimately adv 1: as the end result of a succession or process; "ultimately he had to give in"; "at long last the winter was over" syn: {finally}, {in the end}, {at last}, {at long last} 2: after everything has been considered; "in the final analysis, we are quite well off" syn: {in the last analysis}, {in the final analysis}

So, basically, after you had considered everything in this over-long thread, you had come to the correct conclusion and discovered that all roads are dangerous. Apparantly you mean some other defition of "ultimately" that means something similar to "superlatively".

To some extent, sure, most things probably are. However, it's the degree of danger that is important.

By your argument, anything and everything in the world which is not sentient is safe. That seems rather pointless to me.
