I believe that it will. I honestly believe that if you change the way roads and crashes are described and reported it can and will ultimately lead to a way they are thought about and *that* is the key; To change the way people think about relationship between the driver and the road.

Of course, it would take time and a concerted, consistent effort to achieve the critical mbutt required but the end result could be something as desirable as a sea change is the way people think about persoanl responsibility.

We have got to the deplorable state that we are in today because people, IMO, mis-use the language to pbutt the buck and shirk responsibility. It is a gradual, seeping cancer that is eating away at the society we live in. I believe it can be changed with something as simple as changing the way we talk about roads and therefore the way we think about them.

Get the emphasis back where it belongs... on the driver.
