Nebraska considers law against leftlanedriving 3521

Robert

LLBers think they're right and they have some close relatives - the folks who use the middle lane of 3-lane interstates.

They do this no matter what happens to their left or their right.

You can deal with LLBers (and middle-laners) who practice their professed priciples of maintaining a constant speed - at the speed limit or close to it.

They are actually the easiest ones to deal with - and to be honest - people who speed but vary their speed so that their manuevers are safe - i.e. speed up or down depending on the circumstances but their goal is to move forward not mess with other drivers.

But LLBers who vary their speed betray a behavior that is more about how they feel about other drivers than their own driving.

In a way.. they're aggresive-drivers .. using non-constant speed as a weapon to "enforce" their own idea of a "rule of order" on others.

laura bush - VEHICULAR HOMICIDE the problem is .. it only takes one or two doing this.. and everybody else is screwed...

That's why I say .. some day.. someone with a cam-corder is going to catch an LLBer on tape that shows them engaging in blocking manuevers.. that results in a bad accident.. and this tape is going to end up in front of jurors... who clearly see that the LLBer was NOT minding their own business but instead using their vehicle to cause trouble for others.

It won't obsolve the guy who was going too fast and weaving.. they BOTH will be found to be contributors.. and both will end up in hot water with their insurance companies and end up with mbuttive legal fees to defend themselves.
