That is totally contradictory. You judged me in an instant an are still doing so. Summed me up as a couldn't drive arsehole with no experience of autos. Jumped at me before trying to fully understand my point on braking. Perhaps I didn't make it clear, perhaps you didn't fully understand my point? but I just can never agree with your opinion about changing to 2 for every *slight* trim in speed is just not right. You still do not appear to be hearing what I am saying, as I was from the start talking about slight changes in speed, slight trim of an MPH or two. The cars I've owned had boxes manufactured by The Borg :-), they had zero engine braking, perhaps mo re mordern boxes do? But when I owned autos, coming of the accerlerator was the same as dipping a clutch in a manual and coasting (which I of course never do, in case you misunderstand-misquote me).

Don't judge other people. The fact we are all here proves we at least think about our driving, which is more than 99% of them out there on the road and I'd say most on here really care about their driving and want to try to improve the skills they have. Trying to score points by suggesting one of us is a better driver than the other is pointless, especially when words just taken out of context or perhaps not written or read carefully enough.
