Following up to Brimstone
Many years ago when a lad my car was being damaged in the same way and I stayed up all night with mates with spanners and crowbars etc to catch em. Luckily we didnt. I was convinced it was the local yobs who hung about in our square. About a month on, I was walking home and turned the corner to see a neighbour of about 60 keying the side of my car, I went berzerk and lifted him off the ground by his tie with all the neighbours coming out to see what was happening. Anyway, after a little fracas we went our ways. He walked off towards the police station (didnt have car, 1960s) so I thought I had better report it too, the police of course were not greatly interested, when I said I was not going to persue it further they said its up to you. He never did it again and died of a brain tumor a few months later. When my parents heard it was him they remembered a slight incident between this man and my father (my father was very easy going) I cant remember what it was now, but not enough for them to think it might be him. Dont know exactly how some of it relates to either of the cases here, but its a piece of experience. -- Mike Reid
