Happened today, only it wasn't on the M3 it was on the A3 but by coincidence the car was an M3. It tailgated me for 12 miles across the Downs with the driver apparently poo scared of overtaking. Several opportunities where I would have been able to overtake in the 4xFord but numpty preferred to drive so close to the boot of car I was driving that I couldn't see his headlights.
O.T. Veil 731Excuse me?! You might want to reconsider that statement. With respect you're drifting away from the point. I'll try again- are you claiming that religious...
At the A3 slip road said prat continued to tailgate, and that made it a tad difficult to match speed smoothly with the nose to tail traffic on the main carriageway. I managed it OK without using my brakes, but I'd have preferred to have a little more room behind. As soon as I indicated to pull into lane 1, ****ty bollocks tried to pbutt me on the left then seemed to realise that the line of trucks in lane 1 was going to make that suicidal, so he settled for slamming on the brakes, then crossing over the solid white line and swerved into the path of a Mazda in lane 2. Mazda driver sounded horn as soon as he realised M3 was in danger of hitting him side on, and slammed on his brakes. M3 driver screamed into the distance then slammed on his brakes to avoid running into the arse of the car in front.
Now it's official 729Oh, yes. Both. Drove a 320 to Luxembourg and back several times. Vile thing. And the pool car somewhere or...
Then he completely lost it and started alternately running up to the boot of the car ahead then slamming on his brakes and brake testing the Mazda behind. The last I saw as I turned off was the M3 driver, no further ahead then when we joined the A3, relentlessly attempting to intimidate the Mazda driver. He'd pulled all sorts of tricks in a short distance. Dropping to lane 1, letting the Mazda pull alongside then swerving violently towards the Mazda and then out-accelerating it and swerving out ahead of it, only to slam on his brakes.
So if an M3 is an all-conquering ueber machine, why does the driver feel he needs to "prove" something like this one did?
