Right. The Consitution reads:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
It doesn't say, "Except when traveleing, except when in a carriage, except when at school, etc."
In fact, it doesn't say "except" at all.
This nonsense about searching things just because it is in a car is just that - nonsense - and is perpetrated by the JUDGES.
Tomorrow, the JUDGES may say that its OK to search your house, and the Consbreastution doesn't mean what it says about that, just like they say that the Consbreastution doesn't mean what it says simply because you are traveling.
Of course, all the LEO's are simply going to say, "Hooray," and begin violating people's 4th amendment rights in their homes like they violate people's 4th amendment rights in their vehicles, on the sidewalks, etc, etc.
Eventually, our descendants are going to have to shoot themselves some JUDGES, and restore a Consbreastutional government...
