Poor argument.
I used to work for a company that calculated that every credit card charge they accepted cost them $15. So they refused to take credit cards for anything under $50.
Within a month, our market share had dropped from about 50% to about 25%. The other company in the area that we used to share sales with 50-50 got all our lost business.
Companies (and people) that think they need to eliminate the lower priced sales (which is what you are saying) in order to be profitable, are the same companies going out of business very shortly thereafter.
Where I live the best lawyers are the ones who take the small cases, and have made very good livings. The worst ones are the buttholes that won't talk to anyone for less than an hours billing at $300. They are the same buttholes trying to limit the cheaper attorney's ability to practice, by having the local government pbutt laws to restrict who can do what, where, and how.
In all seriousness there are lawyers who are decent people. Then there are the ones who refuse to offer any buttistance without getting overly compensated for it. I hope you can see why the one group is peeed because the other group makes all lawyers look bad.
