I'd always felt the same after owning PSA cars since 1991, but the appalling build of our 807 (admittedly it was built in Paris, not the UK) and the complete fiasco that followed as Peugeot thought we were being unreasonable in not accepting the huge list of faults it had (it spent over three months of the last year alone at the dealership!) has changed my mind about the company completely. They are arrogant, incompetent and have absolutely no idea how to handle customer complaints in a timely, decent or honest manner. Even now I believe the only reason they agreed to buy the heap of junk back from us is that I'd obtained the direct line phone number of Brian Steele (the Peugeot UK customer care manager) and used it regularly rather than being continually fobbed off by their incompetent front line "support". He got sick of me calling, so eventually agreed to buy us out.

I feel very sorry for the guys working on the line, and the other businesses that will be affected through no fault of their own. Peugeot UK as a business deserves to fail, though, based upon the complete hell they put us through over the last three years.
