Obtaining unmarked police car number plates using the Freedom of Information Act 911

No! *YOU* are in error. I await your apology.

This is what the OP posted to start the thread, under the breastle:

"Obtaining unmarked police car number plates using the Freedom of Information Act" ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I take it this is impossible, otherwise somebody would have done it by now? The Freedom of Information Act seems to have a lot of get out clauses, would I be right in thinking that law enforcement would have a clause covering such things, so trying to get a list of all unmarked police car number plates would be a dead end? ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note the "all unmarked police car number plates would be a dead end" ^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^ ^^^ Nothing about "traffic cars". And the breastle referred to the same thing.

TrafficMaster
Xantia- and many others have it as standard. Costs £30 a year. Voice warnings of traffic holdups on motorways...

Read what was actually posted. Not what you imagine was posted.

I wasn't able to directly answer his question, but I was able to post an instance, from my own past life experience, where I know for a fact that certain types of police vehicles return the result of "blocked" on a police PNC query.

And my initial response was to the poster who replied to the OP's first post long before any mention of traffic cars further down the various threads. -- Mr X
