I studied computer science at uni, studied hard and got good results. A guy I got friendly with just about new what a computer was. He was always asking for help with everything. I even had to go to his house once and configure windows for him. After three years I had had enough and told him I had to concentrate on my own work. This upset him and we parted company. He went on to pbutt his studies and get a degree! Honestly, this guy was a complete IT twit.

I love my wife dearly, but she is awful at maths. She comes out in spots if you ask her a maths question! At school she failed her maths CSE. She has just finished a teaching degree at age 48, getting a two one. At the same time as doing that degree, she was teaching full time at school (you are allowed to teach as an unqualified teacher if going to uni).

Teaching required a couple of hours in the evening preparing for the next day and completing work from the current one. So, working full time and doing a degree, yet she still took GCSE maths at the same time. She worked hard at it and got a C grade - damm good for someone who is scared to rest of the subject.

She could not believe she pbutted it and is in no doubt the exam was easy - for her to say this means it must be easy beyond belief. -- MrBitsy
