Police Speeding 838Rather obviously, it is best for the vehicle to travel at a speed that is neither inappropriately slow nor inappropriately fast. I also don't understand why the third vehicle's choice...
Conor formulated on Saturday :
I don't follow your buttumed to be obvious link between the two....
Twice yesterday I had to take evasive action (pull out onto the wrong side of the road) due to vehicles failing to stop-look when attempting to enter a major road from a minor one. In other words their stopping to look, well beyond the Give Way line.
Once yesterday I had a vehicle suddenly pull across from L2 into L3 as I was alongside and pbutting him.
On Wednesday while progressing and following my lane L2 around a roundabout, a young lady in a car swerved from L3 to L2 which involved me in taking evasive action.
On Tuesday a small car turning right into the minor road I was on, as I approached a T with the intention of also turning right, cut straight across on my side of the road at speed - I had to swerve, brake and mount the pavement to avoid him. Nine out of ten vehicles cut across this corner to some extent, so I was expecting it, but that does not excuse it.
All carelessness-stupidity-incompetancelack of proper observation on the part of others. This sort of stupidity has become the normal way of driving for so many these days, as has the need to regularly take evasive action.
What part does-would my spacing from a vehicle in front play in this?
