How many people did you see end? How many accidents did they cause? ItIS possible to drive safely at high speeds if you have the requisite skills. Police driver who do so have those skills. You and I don't.
But it dindn't happen did it? There are always any number of "what if^ scenarios. What if a HGV crashes through the central reservation into the path of cars doing 70mph in lane 3 of a motorway?
