Oh b*****r 5288Twas as I suspected. From icNorthWales: This really is the limit' Feb 28 2005 Daily Post CAMPAIGNERS last night claimed...
Yes, you can take whatever car you want, but it you have to provide a mirror for the test guy, also you have to be insured to drive the car of course..
i did mine in August 2004 and this is what i had.
start off by going outside, you will be asked to read a number plate of a car in the car park, then you will be told to go inside the car and get ready, the test guy will take details on the car.. (naturally before you start the car you check the gears and handbrake to make sure you are in neutral and the handbrake is on)
he will ask you some questions about the car, you may be asked to show him stuff under the bonnet...(when i did it, it was 2 questions but this might have changed)
Oh b*****r 5289I used to drive the A5 4 times a week, every week for years. Off the top of my head, the 30 zones on the A5 in North Wales are Llangollen, Glyndyfdwy, Corwen...
then you set off, i think from all the possible manouvres you are asked to do 2. when i got back to the car park of the test centre the guy had already ticked everything off and put the sheet down befere i had even done my bay parking, i thought i had failed, but i hadnt...luckily i didnt screw up the bay park bigtime :)
Through the test they take you on various roads, they love using roundabouts around here, also they take you on hill starts and such.
at the end he will either say sorry you failed and he will explain why if you want, or he will give you some sheets and tell you that you have pbutted (like pbutt plus info and what to do with your licence etc)
