Your buttumption doesn't pan out. It has been shown that they do hold free and fair elections. Why would it be any different if they were to participate in one election as Israeli citizens?

There's simply no reason why they shouldn't have representation in the Israeli government. The Arabs who chose to stay after 1948 became citizens. The same thing could happen to those who were living in the Gaza strip and the West Bank in 1967.

Yes. People who participate in elections and run for office aren't going to resort to plantings to get their point across. Since the Palestinians have no legal recourse to contest Israeli decisions concerning them, they tend to resort to violence.

If they were Israeli citizens, they could simply vote the people who made the decision to demolish their house out of office and try to fight the decision through the courts. Even if the decision doesn't go in their favor, the government would be obligated to compensate them for their property. Without legal recourse or compensation, what option do you think they're going to take?
