What do you expect from a "breaking news" type report. I have seen the news on TV and read it online and so far, I think the information has been presented fairly and "accurately" WRT the information they *probably* have to hand.
Because it was an entirley stupid comment.
The true extent of his "injuries" may not be fully understood for up to a week after such an incident. He was probably wearing protective headgear and possibly even protective clothing. This could result in little or no visible marks or surface "injury" while internally, he could be in a critical condition.
Richard Hammond Update 664We *all* have access to test tracks. If you don't want to spent £80 or so on a track day then that's your choice. I've done track days and I didn't see anyone...
People are interested in RH and want to know what is happening. The media are trying to keep the public updated without wanting to repeat themselves. What do you expect them to report?
In addition, the possible brain injury is very much a longer-term heath issue, the extent of which may not be fully known for weeks.
One thing is certain, he will definately have a headache for quite some time, and I'm not being flippant about that. I know, really I do.
Yes, that's why I know this isn't a con or misleading issue.
