Yes. He's a very good friend and I like him-get on well with him outside of driving. He also knows he has a failing but his temper over rides his common sense.
He's already had two accidents (that I know of) due to his atbreastude. In both cases the accidents were caused, he admits, by his determination to "teach someone a lesson". IIRC the first time he was irritated by someone tailgating another driver so he tailgated the tailgater... then a deer ran into the road and he ran into the back of the car he was tailgating. The second time, the sequence of incidents is less clear, but I think he was undertaken on the motorway and took exception to it. So he in turn undertook the undertaker, who moved up to close the gap, and the two cars touched then ploughed into the crash barrier, involving other vehicles.
Police took no action. I guess because both drivers were in the wrong they agreed to keep quiet between them about the full circumstances of the accident.
You can however understand why I drive myself to places?
