But how do we know that normally he's not the most placid, laid back, couldn't give a stuff (in the positive sense) chap whose wife, teenage daughter-son or manager at the garage had would him up over some trivial matter and was quite simply having one of those days where everything goes wrong and the self-serving privates heads in the car was the final straw (evidence for the people in the car being privates heads is that she was ready to take photos at the exact moment he gave the V sign, how did she manage to have her camera ready at the right moment if this wasn't at least partly deliberate)? In short we don't; we've seen the final result captured by some individual out to "bash" bus drivers.
If you go to the forum linked in the OP you'll see that the bus driver has admitted going OTT. The female who's making the fuss is till complaining.

When it comes to being "professional" (a much abused word, perhaps you can tell me what it's supposed to mean in this context?) is it being suggested that those in the professions (the supposedly better educated) don't lose their rags on occasions and behave in a less than ideal manner?
