I haven't yet over recorded the tape, so I had another look. There was a sign warning on the pavement that the road temporarily narrowed on the right. It looks like workmen were starting to cone off the right hand lane on the approach to the traffic lights. The traffic in the left hand lane was complying with the signage and moving into lane 1, it wasn't a left hand filter at the traffic lights. The black woman pbutted a road junction on the wrong side of the road before joining the car that was waiting just pbutted the lights in lane 2. I couldn't see any keep left signs near the cones. She just managed to get back on to her side of the road before cars started moving in the opposite direction. I couldn't tell if they had been forced to slow down due to her manoeuvre.
Considering she was just out to demonstrate her driving to a psychologist and not in any particular hurry to get any where her driving showed great impatience. She was very lucky that nothing was coming the other way and that the workmen didn't decide to walk back into the middle of the road, as they may not have looked for her on the wrong side of the road. Her driving is an accident waiting to happen.
