Yes. I can think of no aspect of the system that is flawed in any way. It has stood the test of time for for road driving in all circumstances from touring to pursuit by all clbuttes of driver from complete novice to Police Clbutt 1 for 50 years.
Having said that, the system as defined in the original "Attention All Drivers" 2 and subsequent editions of Roadcraft is, at first glance, not the same as the system in the current edition of "new" Roadcraft. However, if you look at it properly and read the supporting text, in both the old and new editions, you will see that it is actually the same system. It is just that the explanation has been simplified, IMO dumbed down and has lost a lot of the original precision and cripsness.
