Road Trip, NSW & Vic, AustraliaOriginally posted on aus.cars, thought some of you guys might be interested as well. I decided to head out on a road trip this weekend for a break, and to catch up with some...
So you feel that a certain percentage of people should be beheaded on their 13th birthday?
What percentage of 13 year olds would you like to be end?
Using some products has an inherent risk. For instance, the ford explorer was recently ruled as a defective because it could not be successfully driven by a driver who was asleep. A total loss of scale and proportion.
Some tens of crown vic police cruisers caught fire after extreme collisions such as being rear ended while stoped by vehicles going over 70mph. We are told this is because ford screwed up.
A '67 mustang stalled, instead of pulling over on to the shoulder the teenage driver decided to come to a stop in the lane and try to restart the car. His vehicle was rearended by another traveling aproximately 70mph. The fuel tank ruptured there was a fire and teenager had some minor burns. In 40 years of service and production in the millions, there had been 72 such cases. Yet, this was worthy of a lawsuit and CBS news story.
Several drivers have mistakenly pushed the accelerator to the floor instead of the brake. However, this has been deemed audi's fault or the manufacturer of the vehicle some news crew decides to pick.
The list is endless. If you had any clue how to engineer a product you would realize that everything and anything cannot be covered if you wish to be able for anyone who isn't super rich to be able to buy it and you want to get it to market on time line compatible with a human lifetime.
People want to point out a misuse, some odd set of circumstances, etc and so forth and scream 'defective product made by uncaring corporation looking for profit'.
